SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS

The cost of postage and handling for products within Australia varies widely depending on the destination of  your order and the number, size and weight of the items within your order.  Shipping costs can be viewed in your shopping cart prior to check out. 

Orders being delivered to TAS, WA, NT, Nthn QLD and other remote regions within Australia, may incur additional shipping costs.  Customers will be contacted if additional shipping costs are to be applied to their order.

 

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping only applies to our stunning range of Ravello French Flax Linen Bedding.  Please note, if you are adding additional items to your linen bedding order, shipping costs will be automatically added. 

 

FREIGHT PARTNERS - AUSTRALIA POST, AMAREX (Formerly Fastway) & TNT

To serve our customer's needs best, we now offer delivery to our customers Australia Wide, using the best suited delivery method for each delivery.

We deliver all orders via Australia Post, Amarex or TNT utilising their individual tracked parcel/freight system for secure and reliable service. 

If you are not home when the driver attempts to deliver your parcel, a secure location will be sought to leave your parcel.  If a safe place to leave your parcel can not be located, your parcel will be taken to your respective freight delivery company (eg., your local Post Office, Amarex or TNT Depot) to await your collection.

If you have any additional instructions regarding your delivery, please include these in the Order Notes section at checkout.  Wherever possible we will aim to meet your requests.

 

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL)

Unless requested otherwise, Authority to leave (ATL) is chosen by default with all Malmaison orders. Our shipping partners will not require a signature for delivery and will leave the parcel in a safe place if no one is home. You agree that the parcel is deemed 'delivered' when left at your premises. 

If your parcel requires a signature when delivered, please leave a comment and instructions to that effect in your order notes.

Malmaison will not be held liable for any stock loss, due to theft or negligence if proof of delivery has been provided from our shipping partners.

Please note, Malmaison is not responsible for parcels delivered.

I WOULD LIKE TO SIGN FOR MY ORDER, HOW CAN I ENSURE THIS?

If you would prefer to sign for your parcel, please let us know in the order notes section when placing your order.  If no one is home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be taken to your local Post Office or courier depot for collection.

 

DELIVERY TIMEFRAME
STANDARD

We are currently running on skeleton staff.  As a result, we have had to alter our usual daily shipping regime to ship orders twice weekly.  Where possible we will ship more frequently, however, until our staffing levels change we will need to alter accordingly.  We apologise for this inconvenience, and are doing our best to alter staffing situation as quickly as possible.  Our warehouse is located in Victoria, thus most deliveries to major cities in VIC, NSW, SA and QLD will generally arrive within 1-3 days from time of despatch.  Orders being delivered to TAS, WA, NT, and Nthn QLD and remote regions generally take longer 5-7 days.  Timeframes are not guaranteed by Australia Post.  All orders can be tracked with the Australia Post Tracking Number you receive when your order is depatched.

Order Size/Weight:  Please note if your order has a physical or cubic weight above 8kg, you may be charged an additional Large Parcel delivery fee.

To limit contact when delivering orders, Australia Post are now defaulting deliveries to authority to leave where possible and will not be requesting a physical signature from the customer/receiver. We strongly recommend that you have your order delivered to an address where someone is available to receive the order (such as a work address).

EXPRESS

Express is an option for all orders up to $100.  If you would prefer your order be shipped via Express please select this option prior to, or during checkout.  Please contact us at admin@malmaison.com.au if you have any concerns about your Express freight option.

Unless requested otherwise, we will choose the best 'Express' freight option for your parcel at the time of dispatch.  With the current delays in the Australia Post system, we are finding often that our alternative freight options offer faster delivery.

Order Size/Weight:  Please note if your order has a physical or cubic weight above 8kg, you will be charged an additional Large Parcel delivery fee which will be determined prior to processing your order.  Unfortunately orders in excess of 10kg will not be able to be shipped via Express delivery.

 

Australia Post Express:  Please note, if your delivery address is outside of the Australia Post Express delivery network, including some areas in WA, NT & Nthn QLD, your delivery may not be covered by the Australia Post Express next day guarantee. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES (Excluding New Zealand)

Unfortunately we no longer deliver our products outside of Australia.  If you live outside of Australia and are wanting to purchase a gift for delivery within Australia, you are very welcome to do so.  Be sure to enter Australian address into the shipping information.  If you would like to have your purchase gift wrapped or a card included, please include this request in the Order Notes section at checkout.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERIES

We do offer international shipping for our customers based in New Zealand.  Please contact us for shipping quote prior to ordering.  Shipping quotations will be provided prior to confirmation of order.
