Since the days of Napoleon, the industrious bee has been an endearing and enduring symbol of France.  Delightful 3-dimensional bees adorn sturdy La Rochere glassware, clear and beautiful for the dining room, sturdy enough for everyday use, and dishwasher safe!  The Bee was chosen by Napoleon to be his heraldic emblem because of its well organised and military like lifestyle. The original glass which inspired this pattern is part of a set housed in the Carnavalet Museum in Paris.
