Founded in 1920 by Pierre Dubost and Marcelle Colas-Pradel, Jean Dubost began in a small mountain village near Thiers, the historic capital of French cutlery.

More than a century later, the business remains in the Dubost family, with generations of skill, knowledge and care continuing to shape its knives, flatware and table pieces.

That sense of continuity is part of what makes Jean Dubost so special.  Each piece carries the spirit of French craftsmanship - the elegance of the table, the finesse of detail and the precision of a well-made cutting edge.
